Russo-Tiesi Imports Inc was founded in 1996 by Gaspare Russo-Tiesi. Gaspare began the business by selling “Bono” brand olive oil to a few gourmet restaurants who appreciated his sincerity and integrity. His relentless work ethic and confidence in genuine Italian products have brought the business from its small beginnings to a well-established and trusted corporation.
Russo-Tiesi Imports Inc now serves hundreds of pizzerias, delis, distributors, and restaurants throughout the country. They are proud to provide the full line “Bono” olive oil and “Pasitificio Granoro” products, two of Italy’s leading manufacturers in their industry. Russo-Tiesi Imports Inc. is the exclusive importer and representative of Pastificio Granoro in the United States.

“As the founder and president of Russo-Tiesi Imports, Gaspare oversees all account operations. Born and raised in the southern part of Sicily, Gaspare attended high school Corleone. Before his
entrepreneurial endeavor, Gaspare was responsible for parts and services for the Sicilian branch of automaker Ford. As manager of the second largest automaker in Sicily, Gaspare was able to create a skill set that would prove to be successful in creating and expanding Russo-Tiesi Imports. In his free time away from the food industry, Gaspare enjoys spending time at the beach with his family and watching soccer. He is a passionate Juventus fan for life.”

“Born and raised in New York City, Elena attended Christ the King High School and St. Johns University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Elena has significant experience with the restaurant business. Before her tenure at Russo-Tiesi Imports, Elena worked in her family’s various restaurants throughout New Jersey and the five boroughs of New York City. She is currently a Senior Account Executive at Russo-Tiesi where she directs accounting and customer relations. Aside from her passion for food, Elena enjoys reading and spending time with her family.”
